La Paz City Tour
The La Paz City Tour is offered by
AMI Los Cabos Transportation Company.
La Paz, Baja Mexico's state capital, which is located 200 km north
of Cabo, was the refuge for Hernan Cortes who first discovered the
Baja. The La Paz City Tour is designed to offer you an in-depth
knowledge of the history and sightseeing of our southern tip. The
morning begins with a tour of the Sea of Cortez route through many
small mountain villages and mining towns as you make our way to
La Paz, the commercial and government capital.
In La Paz you will visit the state
museum, weaving factory, cathedral (original Jesuit mission), and
have time for shopping in this historical city. A scrumptious lunch
is included at a popular restaurant on the marina, where you can
enjoy the scenic bay filled with Caribbean colors.
Afterwards, you return to Los Cabos
traveling on the Pacific side of the peninsula along the scenic,
rugged coastline. You will make a brief stop in Todos Santos, home
to the famous Eagle's Hotel California built in 1928, and experience
a breathtaking Pacific sunset as you make your way home. It is a
day full of exploration and diversity on the La Paz City Tour!
